Reverse Osmosis is a technology that utilized in the water purification process to remove contaminants from water by pushing the water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane. Water that undergoes the Reverse Osmosis process can achieve a purity level of 97%. Reverse Osmosis eliminates both biological and non-biological contaminants from water quickly and effectively.

The water we use for our products is originally drawn from Malaysia’s water supply. Thus, it has already been treated through conventional filtration techniques and had been classified as acceptably safe drinking water. But this, of course, does not meet out world-class standard of quality and purity at R O Water.

 

At all our production facilities, we have installed a state-of-the-art, two-stage reverse osmosis system – exceeding the typical, industry standard one-stage system. Using our system, water is propelled under very high pressure through our reverse osmosis machines, which contain semi-permeable membranes. This is a complex and painstaking process, as the water must make its way through two stages of the reverse osmosis System. As passing through each stage, the water goes from merely adequate, to clean. And finally arrives at a state of near perfection. All manner of waterborne pollutants present even in the most miniscule amounts are eradicated. But this is not the end of the R O Water purification process.

 

Despite having been screened by two-stage reverse osmosis system, there is a small chance that the water still contains a small amount of bacteria. The R O filtered water is then processed with Ozonation. The Ozone oxidizes the organic matter, thereby destroying any lingering bacteria, and is then reduced to harmless oxygen, leaving nothing but a breath of fresh air in the water.

 

The final product of this sophisticated and powerful process is R O Water – pure and safe drinking water that is completely fit for human consumption.

This is no easy task because to produce the entire product – from raw materials to packaging – with optimum quality requires great expertise coupled with advanced technology.

 

In addition, we practice Chemical Handling and Schedule Waste System to ensure that all the waste and chemicals are disposed of properly without harming the environment. Rejected materials such as PET bottles and cartons are sent to the authorized parties for recycling so that wastage and pollution can be minimized.
